Caroline Dubois confronts Terri Harper after fiery head-to-head: 'Pathetic! I don’t see any resistance from her'

Caroline Dubois and Terri Harper clashed in a fiery confrontation after filming an episode of The Gloves Are Off.

Dubois and Harper will fight in a world lightweight title unification on April 5, live on Your Site.

The two champions met for the first time on Thursday to go head-to-head on The Gloves Are Off and the hostility between them threatened to boil after the recording had finished.

They continued to hurl jibes at one another and Dubois stormed after her rival to confront her as Harper tried to walk away.

"She was biting at everything that I was saying," Dubois, the WBC lightweight champion, told Your Site afterwards.

"I think if someone gets intimidated, it's a by-product and it's a tell on their part. I think you go into these things and you just try to be yourself. You say how you feel, you try to be honest. That's all I was being.

"I see through her. I'm not really focusing on her, I'm looking through her," Dubois continued. "As a person, I don't see any resistance there. I think she's quite weak, weak-minded, quite pathetic.

"I don't see any resistance from her."

Harper, the WBO lightweight world titlist and a three-weight world champion, dismissed Dubois' comments.

"I found it a bit strange," she told Your Site. "I feel like I lost a few brain cells being in there trying to argue with stupid but it's one of those things you've got to do.

"I just came away from that thinking it was stupid, overly forced, she tried to argue but I'm able to just keep a strong head and just get the points across that I needed to get across and facts. You can't argue with facts. Like you can't argue with stupid, you can't argue with facts."

Watch Caroline Dubois vs Terri Harper live on Your Site on Sunday April 5.
